The Tiare Concert has a slighter larger scale length than smaller Soprano ukuleles at 384mm. The Mahogany top and arched Mahogany back and sides produce a classic acoustic tone. The arched back helps produce greater sonic resonance and aids a more natural playing position. If you already play the smaller Soprano ukuleles the transition to the Concert is effortless as the tunings remain the same as the Soprano G-C-E-A (& of course you can tune it otherwise even in a Standard guitar four higher pitched strings tuning). The Tiare Concert Ukulele also has an ABS ivory white nut. The sound hole is finished with a gracefully engraved rosette, the headstock bears the Tanglewood logo leaving a classic looking instrument with just the right amount of decoration.
